At JDH ideas, we try to adhere to common practices that reflect our attention to energy conservation and recycling practices. Whenever possible, the paper that we use for our clients and printed works contains recycled content. We also try to print double sided whenever possible to minimize the use of paper products in our office. Using water filters instead of bottles, we try to minimize the amount of waste produced. Replacing our existing light bulbs with energy efficient bulbs helps us financially, but also helps conserve the amount of energy used daily.

In order to minimize the amount of paper products used, we are pushing for a completely digital operation where paper is used only when necessary. Using technology such as online tools and social networking sites, the use for paper should become limited.

In addition, Jon Hall contributes to Penn Environment, a statewide, citizen-based environmental advocacy program. WIth Penn Environment, JDH ideas hopes to limit the amount of waste and push for cleaner methods employed by the state and federal government.
