We have begun work with Jenny Wheeler in developing her new look for the new year. As 2009 approaches, we want the natural singer and songwriters website and album artwork to look more organic and inviting. In a time when everyone is going with the sleek silver/black mecha-design, Jenny Wheeler looks more natural than ever!

This month we have delved into new waters with our client Bubba's HomeBaked in order create their online store. We worked in conjunction with our business partner Dan Domski Design to complete this project, and it is looking good. Bubba's HomeBaked specializes in creating gourmet rolls that are sold in outlets around the Pittsburgh areas. Their online store makes shopping for their rolls easier, and more affordable. Bubba's HomeBakes is still under contruction, but by Thanksgiving, things should be ready to "roll".Let the mouths water!!

As of now, we have mostly been creating work for the world of 2-dimensional print work and website design, with a special liking to Flash animation. It happens to be something that we enjoy working with and our clients love the work we present. But recently, Jon Hall has been delving into the 3D world and creating some really amazing work. Our portfolio section has been going through a sort of metamorphosis for some time, but I assure you, it will be open soon. Keep checking back for more intuitive additions to this site.

We love hearing what other people have to say.Since we've been posting these monthly notes about our work and clients, we've received feedback from lots of exciting people. Recently, the folks at HOW Design, the leading creativity, business, and technology magazine for Graphic Designers gave us some great feedback regarding our client work and audience. From great resources about design inspiration to tips for Graphic Design professionals, HOW Design has an amazing amount of information available from their website and magazine that we use all the time. Check them out.

We are in the final stages of the Jenny Wheeler website; so close, we can taste the success. She and her husband are uber excited to get this website off the ground and circulating around the web. We are moving to a bigger area, so more work can have a place to sit, enjoy, and relax around creative juices.

Another month gone by, and new work always coming in. New to our client list is Sconetique, a new bakery in Cranberry Township, PA specializing in.... yeah, you guessed it, Scones. We have created the logo design for their new location and are looking forward to the new menus.

Jon Hall and JDH Ideas has gained the Mike Clark Legacy Foundation (MCLF) as their newest clients. This non-profit organization is dedicated to creating a better community and goals for the Philadelphia / Delaware Valley area. With the help of us, this dream is becoming a reality.

We have just been awarded two Awards of Excellence from the Graphic Design USA In-House Design Competition. The awards are for Jon Hall's work for the International Academy of Design and Technology. You can view the winning projects and highlights in the July issue of GDUSA and on their website at gdusa.com shortly.
